Additional information on withdrawal sleeves
Withdrawal sleeves are used to fasten roller bearings with bevelled drill holes on recessed shafts with cylindrical seating. They are secured using shaft nuts or retainer plates. A forcing nut is required for removal. Shaft nuts and forcing nuts are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. The designations for the withdrawal sleeves start with AH or AHX. The thread dimensions in withdrawal sleeves with a G suffix deviate from DIN 5416 and are used to reduce the number of varieties of forcing nuts.

Starting from size 32, installation and removal can be made easier by using the hydraulic process. The withdrawal sleeves can be provided with oil channels and hydraulic connections for the hydraulic process.

Withdrawal sleeves have a taper per unit length (conic tapering) of 1:12 with the exception of the AH 240 and AH 241 series, which have a taper per unit length of 1:30.
