Lockable shaft nuts from the "KMT/KMTA" series are now black finished.

Our KMT/KMTA shaft nuts facilitate simple yet effective and precise axial fixation of bearings or other machine parts to the shaft.
The KMT/KMTA nuts are locked in place with three brass securing-pins that are uniformly distributed around the circumference, which are in turn pressed against the shaft thread using hexagon socket setscrews. On top of that, during fastening, these securing pins enable an exact right-angled adjustment of the nut or compensation for inaccuracies and deviations on other components to be secured to the shaft.
Open-end wrenches, hook spanners and striking-face wrenches can be used depending on the installation situation.
